We started from UK beauty creators on Instagram in the ClickAnalytic database, where beauty covers makeup, skincare, fragrance, hair and dermatology content.
We required a meaningfully UK-based audience, so the list reflects creators reaching British followers rather than only living in the UK.
We ranked on a blend of reach, engagement and audience quality rather than follower count alone, so smaller creators with real, reactive audiences can outrank larger ones.
Engagement is read against the Instagram median for each follower size from the Creator Economy Report 2026, so a small account is not unfairly compared with a mega one.
Audience quality is the share of followers that read as real rather than fake or inactive.
We excluded brand pages, retailers, salons run as businesses, and beauty publications, keeping the list to individual creators.
Figures reflect the latest database snapshot and refresh as the data updates.
