CA Influence Index™

The CA Influence Index™ (CII) is a market-relative creator score from 0 to 99. It ranks creators on the combination buyers need, instead of treating follower count as a proxy for influence.

25%

Audience fit

Measures how much of a creator's audience matches the country or market covered by the ranking. Full marks are reached at 80%.

30%

Engagement

Compares the creator's engagement rate with the interpolated market median for an account of the same follower size. Full marks are reached at three times that median.

30%

View power

Compares average Reel views with follower count. This stops a large but lightly watched account from winning on size alone.

15%

Audience quality

Uses the estimated real-audience share. Full marks are reached at 90%, and a missing Instagram reading prevents the score from being published.

How the final score works

Each component is normalized to 0-100, multiplied by its weight and added without rounding the intermediate values.

The result is rounded once and capped at 99. The cap prevents the score from implying certainty about future campaign performance.

A+ covers 90-99, A covers 80-89, B covers 65-79, C covers 50-64 and D covers scores below 50.

Fail closed when data is missing

CII is only shown when every required input is available for every creator in the ranking. Missing relevance, engagement, average views or Instagram audience-quality data does not become a zero. The page keeps its original ordering and publishes no partial index.

Engagement is local and size-aware. A Swiss creator is compared with the Swiss median for their follower band, not with an unrelated global average. Cross-market comparisons are published only when the same platform, metric and follower band are available on both sides.
