Based on the micro tier band of $900 to $1,500, interpolated by follower count and average engagement.
How we estimate
Real rates from the Click Analytic Creator Economy Report. We place your creator inside their size tier, then nudge the range by engagement. Higher engagement lands closer to the top of the band.
An Instagram pricing calculator turns a follower count and an engagement level into a realistic price-per-post range. This one runs on the creator tiers from the Click Analytic Creator Economy Report: $114 to $679 for nano creators, $899 to $1,500 for micro, $2,600 to $5,700 for mid-tier, and $5,900 to $12,200 for macro. It places the account inside its own tier by follower count, then shifts the range up or down with engagement, so you open the negotiation with a number instead of a guess. Free, with no signup.

Use the range as a negotiating position, not a price tag
A creator quote is a bundle: the post, the usage rights, the exclusivity window, the extra cut for paid media. The calculator gives you the base rate for one sponsored Instagram post, which is the number the rest of the deal gets built on top of. Walk in knowing the band and you stop paying macro money for a mid-tier audience.
Check the audience before you pay the top of a band
Price follows reach, but reach only pays if the followers are real. In our Creator Economy Report, 0.47% of Instagram creators combine a 90%+ real audience with 2%+ engagement, and 44.1% had not posted at all in the previous 30 days at year-end 2025. Run the audience quality score on a creator before you agree to the ceiling of their tier.

The numbers behind every shortlist.
We believe creator data should live in the open. So we publish what our own platform actually measures, in the proprietary Creator Economy Report 2026: a study of 23.6M creators across 400M+ profiles, as of December 31, 2025.
Read the Creator Economy ReportCommon Questions
How much should I pay an Instagram creator per post?
It depends on the tier. Our Creator Economy Report puts nano creators at $114 to $679, micro at $899 to $1,500, mid-tier at $2,600 to $5,700 and macro at $5,900 to $12,200 for one sponsored post. The calculator places a specific account inside its own band.
Where do these rates come from?
The Click Analytic Creator Economy Report, built on what our own platform measures across the creator database rather than on what agencies say they pay.
Does engagement really change the price?
It should. Two creators with 80,000 followers are not worth the same money if one of them gets ten times the comments. The calculator keeps both in the micro tier but moves the estimate inside the band.
Why is the quote I received higher than the estimate?
Usually because the quote covers more than one post. Usage rights, exclusivity windows, extra deliverables and production all sit on top of the base rate. Treat the range as the opening line of that conversation.
Should I ever pay the top of a band?
Only when the audience justifies it. In our research just 0.47% of Instagram creators pair a 90%+ real audience with 2%+ engagement, so check the quality score before you agree to the ceiling.
Does this cover Reels and Stories?
The range is for one sponsored in-feed post. Reels, Stories and multi-asset bundles are normally priced off that base, which is why the number reads as a starting point rather than a quote.
