We started from the 927,095 US-based Instagram accounts we track and kept those between 20,000 and 1,000,000 followers that name beauty in their own bio. Those accounts then had to hold at least half their audience in the United States while clearing our engagement, audience quality, Reel view and recency floors. Eleven already published on our fashion or fitness pages were excluded, and the 25 here are ranked by the CA Influence Index.
Both are drawn from the same market and many creators name both words in their bio. Where an account appears on our fashion page it is not repeated here: eleven were excluded for that reason. If you are briefing across both, read the two pages as one field of fifty rather than two of twenty-five.
Because beauty products ship in a market. On this page the American share runs from 57 to 97 percent, and eleven of the 25 sit above 88 percent. An account with 900,000 followers and a 57 percent domestic share is selling to 380,000 people who cannot buy from your US launch.
They do. The filter reads the creator's own bio for the word beauty, so every account here has described itself that way. That is why the page holds a law student, a Netflix actor and a 55-year-old author alongside makeup and skincare accounts.
