Top 25 Italian football influencers

In Italy, football is the conversation that never stops, from Serie A to the national team.

The list mixes Serie A players and Italians abroad, former champions turned pundits, and football creators who live off reels and social commentary.

The biggest names come from the pitch, but the strongest reactions often sit with the younger players and pure content creators, who post constantly for the same community of fans.

Who's on this list

Under the same passion sit very different profiles. At the top are the most-followed players, from Lorenzo Insigne to Federico Dimarco, alongside those playing abroad like Fabian Ruiz, Simon Kjaer and Radu Dragusin: accounts with hundreds of thousands or millions of followers, built on fame earned on the pitch and carried onto Instagram across matches, training and private life.

Next to the active players is a second group that explains why this list stays useful for anyone working with brands: former champions like Roberto Baggio, Alessandro Nesta and Antonio Cassano, now recognisable faces and pundits, and football creators like Andrea Panciroli and FiusGamer, who turn analysis, humour and football gaming into content made for the community. These younger profiles and the pure creators are often the ones posting the highest interaction in the group, because they publish for fans rather than a general audience.

Across the 4,392 football creators in Italy, audiences engage about 3.9 times more per post than a typical account of the same size, and about 80% have a mostly real audience.

ClickAnalytic creator database (live) ·

Many profiles already list a management contact or a dedicated collaboration email in their bio, a sign of creators used to working with brands, and several players flag technical sponsors like adidas or Nike. According to the ClickAnalytic Creator Economy Report, about 39% of creators on Instagram have a public email, in line with the contacts you can read here.

Among the most-followed, players carry the weight, but the most reactive audiences often sit with the younger profiles, the analysis creators and those who mix football and gaming, who post consistently and speak to very defined communities. Several profiles are listed in the AGCOM register, a recurring detail among the more structured Italian football creators.

Our verdict

This ranking works well as a quick map of the most-followed Italian football profiles on Instagram, from the Serie A pitches to the creators born online.

For reach alone, the best-known players and former champions are the natural starting point; for campaigns with highly reactive communities, look to the younger faces, the analysis creators and those who mix football and gaming, who often post the highest interaction in the group.

The 25 in the ranking are only a public selection. To filter by role, audience size, follower quality and verified contact, you can explore the 4,392 Italian football creators we track inside ClickAnalytic.

Methodology

How we selected these creators

How we picked this list. We start from football creators associated with Italy who have an active audience on Instagram, then rank by a combination of followers, interaction rate and audience quality.

Profiles must be recognisable people, players, former players or football creators, recently active, with metrics that belong to the same Instagram account shown. Club pages, newsrooms and football apps are left out.

The 25 in the ranking are the public selection; the full slice of Italian football creators we track is much larger and is accessible inside the platform.

The figures above are a snapshot pulled on June 16, 2026, not a live feed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything brands ask before shortlisting Italian football creators.

How is this ranking of Italian football creators ordered?

The 25 profiles are ranked by combining followers, interaction rate and audience quality on Instagram. It is not a simple list by follower count: how much fans react and how real the audience looks both matter.

Why are there players who play abroad in the ranking?

The list gathers football creators tied to Italy with a strong Italian following. That is why you find Italians abroad like Fabian Ruiz at PSG, and foreigners followed heavily in Italy like Simon Kjaer and Radu Dragusin, alongside Serie A players.

Did you include team pages or football newsrooms?

No. This is a ranking of people: players, former players and football creators. We excluded official club pages, publications, fantasy football apps and sports media accounts, which describe teams or companies rather than a single creator.

How do you assess audience quality and fake followers?

For each profile we calculate a real-audience share, the part of the following that looks authentic and is not inflated by suspicious accounts. Across the 25 shown, that share averages around 79 percent. On the full database you can see the same AQS score creator by creator.

Can I contact these football creators for a collaboration?

Many profiles already list a management contact or a collaboration email in their bio, as with Gianluca Lapadula and Sebastiano Esposito. According to the ClickAnalytic Creator Economy Report, about 39% of creators on Instagram have a public email, and on the database you get verified contacts to reach the right profiles without manual searches.

How much does a collaboration with these football creators cost?

It depends on profile size. According to the ClickAnalytic Creator Economy Report, an Instagram post in the 500,000 to 1 million follower band is estimated between 5,900 and 12,200 dollars. It is a reference estimate, not a price list, and it varies by niche and engagement.

How we know this

Where the numbers on this page come from.

ClickAnalytic indexes 400M+ creator accounts across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. The figures in this ranking come from querying that database, cross-referenced with the Creator Economy Report 2026; card figures reflect the snapshot date shown on this page.
