Set the domestic audience requirement
Define whether your campaign needs Turkish followers or an international audience. Apply that requirement alongside creator location.
Turkey market study · 2026
Turkey's creator market spans Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. This study measures 440,450 accounts above the follower threshold and separates audience location, engagement, video views and brand activity.
Use the platform charts to choose where to search, then compare individual creators with accounts of a similar size. A large Turkish creator pool does not mean every account reaches Turkish buyers.

A national creator count helps size the opportunity. It does not replace a campaign shortlist.
This study counts accounts located in Turkey within Click Analytic's measured database population. The base requires an inferred individual creator gender and a small domestic-audience floor; brand and publisher accounts without that classification are outside the measured population.
All platform shares use their own account population. Nano accounts are reported separately. Creator gender describes account holders, while domestic-audience metrics describe their followers; neither identifies the people who saw a particular sponsored post.
Start with the size of the three platform pools, then narrow by audience and performance.
The Turkish creator market in numbers. Each finding has its own link, so a single statistic can be cited on its own.
The total combines platform accounts across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, rather than unique people.
TikTok's measured pool is larger than YouTube's 19,627 channels. Pool size alone does not establish campaign reach.
At least two fifths of these accounts' followers are in Turkey. The corresponding share on YouTube is 73.6%.
TikTok's share is 6.1%. These figures indicate detected branded content, not a complete record of paid partnerships.
Posting activity is measured over the month before the snapshot. Check recent content again before agreeing a campaign.
At least two fifths of their followers are in Turkey. This is a broader domestic-audience pool than the corresponding shares on TikTok and YouTube.
That is 59,876 accounts. Review the actual partnerships before assuming their format or audience fits your product.
The measured population contains 440,450 creator accounts above the follower threshold, with 4,227,394 additional nano accounts counted separately.
Instagram contributes 193,677 accounts, TikTok 227,146, and YouTube 19,627 channels. These counts describe the database population meeting the study filters, rather than every person creating content in Turkey.
For a brief that needs a particular audience size, use the platform's band distribution. A national total includes very different accounts and cannot tell you how many fit a niche, city or budget.
Instagram is concentrated in smaller accounts: 75.8% sit in the ten-to-fifty-thousand follower band. A search focused only on the largest names therefore misses most of the measured Instagram market.

Count shortlisted creators separately from the national market. One person with several channels can appear in several platform totals.
74.5% of TikTok accounts and 73.6% of YouTube channels have at least two fifths of their followers in Turkey.
Instagram has the strongest domestic concentration at the two-fifths threshold: 82.8%, representing 160,424 accounts. At the stricter three-fifths threshold, 70.5% remain.
A creator's location and the audience's location answer different questions. A creator based in Istanbul may have an international following; the national filter alone does not establish domestic campaign fit.
For a Turkish retail campaign, shortlist against the audience threshold your brief needs. For an export brand, a more international audience may be useful. Neither choice can be made from nationality alone.
Follower location is an audience estimate. It is not the geographic breakdown of viewers of a future sponsored video.
83.2% of TikTok accounts meet the three-percent engagement threshold; on YouTube the share is 38.9%.
On Instagram, 15.5% meet the same three-percent threshold. Median engagement is around 0.44% in the ten-to-fifty-thousand follower band and around 0.56% above a quarter of a million followers. The median is not a minimum standard or a campaign promise.
That difference should not become a claim that one platform will deliver better sales. Engagement depends on the platform's interaction and audience measures, the content format and account size.
Use the same-platform, same-size benchmark when reviewing a creator. Then inspect whether recent comments address the content and whether a sponsored format would fit the creator's usual work.

Found by binary search over counting queries, so each median is a narrow range. Round it before quoting it.
Threshold shares overlap. Accounts above the highest threshold are also included in the lower thresholds.
4.2% of TikTok accounts and 7.0% of YouTube channels average at least a hundred thousand views.
On Instagram, 7.4% of measured accounts average at least a hundred thousand Reels views. Reels and longer YouTube videos serve different formats, so compare each creator with relevant work on the same platform.
Average views help separate the size of a subscribed audience from the performance of published videos. The median chart describes a typical account's average, not a guaranteed result for the next upload.
Before choosing a creator for a product demonstration, compare recent videos of a similar format and length. An exceptional viral clip can pull an account's average upward without representing normal sponsored performance.

Keep views, engagement and followers as separate measures. A view count is never an engagement percentage.
Detected brand history appears on 6.1% of TikTok accounts and 8.5% of YouTube channels.
Instagram shows detected branded content on 30.9% of measured accounts, while 52.5% posted during the recent activity window. These are separate measures; the study does not imply that every branded account was active during that window.
This is evidence of detected branded content, not proof that an account accepts every campaign or has no experience when the flag is absent. Undetected and privately arranged partnerships are not represented reliably.
For creators with visible partnerships, review how the product appears in the content and how viewers respond. Confirm availability, content rights and disclosure responsibilities directly before commissioning work.

6.4% of measured TikTok accounts grew by more than one fifth over six months. On Instagram the corresponding share is 6.8%.
Percentage growth reflects the size of the starting account. A fast-growing smaller creator and an established channel may both suit a brief, but the growth percentage does not make their reach equivalent.
Look at the content behind a rise in followers. A recurring series relevant to your product offers a different opportunity from a single unrelated viral moment.

Turn the market statistics into a brief with explicit audience and format requirements.
Define whether your campaign needs Turkish followers or an international audience. Apply that requirement alongside creator location.
A short product introduction and a detailed tutorial need different evidence. Compare the creator's recent work in the format you intend to buy.
Use the platform and size benchmarks together. National totals and cross-platform engagement differences cannot rank individual creators fairly.

Not necessarily. 74.5% of measured TikTok accounts and 73.6% of YouTube channels have at least two fifths of their followers in Turkey. Check audience location alongside the creator's location.
Use them within each platform first. Different formats and engagement measures make a single cross-platform percentage an incomplete basis for choosing a creator. Account size also matters.
No. The flag indicates detected branded content. It does not establish the commercial result, cover every partnership or guarantee performance on a future campaign.
The studies were measured in September 2026. The charts identify their populations and source dates; measurements describe that snapshot rather than a continuously updated census.
