We checked TrendHERO’s current pricing, feature and help pages in October 2026, so you can see what each plan really includes before you commit.
Our TrendHERO review: How good is it?
Let’s start this TrendHERO review. We’ll look at what it is, who uses it, its features, pricing, and more.
What is TrendHERO?

TrendHERO is an influencer marketing platform for finding, analysing and contacting influencers on Instagram. It’s run by trendHERO Ltd., which its website lists in the Cayman Islands, and has been around since 2019. Its own pages put the database at 110M+ Instagram accounts (its pricing page says 100M+).
It offers a suite of features focused on analytics, audience insights, and most notably: its fake follower detection technology. Using machine learning algorithms, TrendHERO analyses Instagram profiles to identify bot accounts, suspicious followers, and inauthentic engagement patterns.
Unlike some competitors that try to cover every social platform, TrendHERO focuses only on Instagram analytics. Its pricing, feature and help pages name no other network, so there’s no TikTok or YouTube data.
Who uses TrendHERO?

TrendHERO’s own pages list four uses: checking influencers, analysing competitors, analysing your own accounts and auditing client accounts.
Its tools are particularly beneficial for using influencer marketing to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
The platform serves three main audiences:
- Brands and marketers who need to vet influencers before partnering, ensuring they’re not paying for fake engagement
- Influencer marketing agencies managing multiple client campaigns and requiring detailed reporting
- Influencers themselves who want to track their own account health and demonstrate authenticity to potential partners
Notable TrendHERO features

What’s next in our TrendHERO review? The features. ⚙️
It’s essential to spotlight the key features that set this platform apart.
TrendHERO comes equipped with a suite of tools designed to enhance your influencer marketing strategy:
👉 Robust influencer discovery: TrendHERO’s powerful search engine is a standout feature. It enables you to find influencers across niches using about 20 filters, including category, follower count, location, language, engagement rate and audience quality. It searches TrendHERO’s 110M+ Instagram accounts with 1,000+ followers, but the audience-based Premium filters only cover the 200K+ influencers it has already built reports for. Search isn’t on Lite; it starts on Pro.
💡 Pro tip: Click Analytic searches 425M+ creator profiles across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, against TrendHERO’s 110M+ Instagram accounts. Vendors count differently, so treat both numbers as rough signals.
👉 In-depth audience insights: TrendHERO lets you delve deep into the analytics of an influencer’s audience. This feature provides detailed demographic data, interests, and engagement metrics, enabling you to understand and target your ideal audience. Reports break the audience down by gender, country and city, for both followers and the accounts that like the influencer’s posts, and show audience interests based on the business accounts those followers also follow.
👉 Innovative fake follower check: TrendHERO’s fake follower checker tool scrutinises an influencer’s followers, identifying potential fake or bot accounts. This ensures your marketing efforts and investments are channelled towards genuine and active audiences.
👉 Instagram engagement rate calculator: Understanding an influencer’s true engagement rate is crucial for predicting campaign performance. TrendHERO provides detailed engagement metrics that go beyond simple like and comment counts, helping you identify whether an influencer’s audience is truly engaged or artificially inflated.
👉 Competitor monitoring & ad database: The platform includes tools to monitor competitor activity and view sponsored content that influencers have posted. This “Ad Posts” feature lets you search through actual advertising content to see how influencers handle branded collaborations. Ad post search starts on Pro, with up to 100 searches a day.
👉 Quick to start: There’s no software to install. You don’t need to connect any Instagram accounts to start using the platform: simply enter any public username to begin analysis.
How the TrendHERO Fake Follower Check Works
One of TrendHERO’s standout features is its fake follower detection system. Here’s how it works:
The platform uses machine learning algorithms to analyse multiple signals and categorise an influencer’s followers:
- Real followers: Accounts that aren’t flagged as suspicious, mass followers or influencers
- Suspicious accounts: Most likely bots or inactive accounts, judged by machine learning on signals such as a missing avatar, follow and unfollow patterns, and the number and quality of posts
- Mass followers: Accounts that follow more than 1,500 others, so they’re unlikely to see the post in their feed
- Influencers: Accounts with 100,000+ followers, plus some with 5,000 to 100,000 depending on how they follow and post. TrendHERO counts them as good audience, along with real followers
What TrendHERO analyses:
- Engagement authenticity: Checks how likes are spread across posts and how many come from other influencers or mass followers, to spot fake likes
- Comment analysis: Sorts comments into the author’s own, real, short (four words or fewer) and suspicious, meaning comments that sell something, tag accounts or match its word lists
- Growth pattern detection: Identifies unnatural spikes that suggest purchased followers
- Account Quality Score (AQS): A 1 to 100 score that sums up audience type, engagement, comment types, giveaways and growth patterns
This is particularly valuable because inauthentic engagement can cost marketers significant budget on campaigns that reach no real potential customers. By running a TrendHERO audit before partnering with an influencer, you can avoid wasting money on fake audiences.
Two caveats. The rules are fixed: anyone following more than 1,500 accounts counts as a mass follower, whatever their real habits. And the check only covers Instagram, so a creator’s TikTok or YouTube audience isn’t looked at. TrendHERO says its data comes from Instagram’s official API and other open sources. Like any follower-quality score, treat AQS as a screening estimate, not proof of bought followers.
Pros and cons of TrendHERO
Let’s look at some advantages and disadvantages of using TrendHERO for your next influencer marketing campaign.
Pros
Let’s start with the good news.
✅ Comprehensive search and filtering options: TrendHERO allows users to sift through a vast influencer database, thanks to its wide array of filtering options catering to various campaign needs.
✅ Detailed Reports: TrendHERO generates in-depth reports with 90+ metrics, offering valuable insights into audience demographics and authenticity. This enables brands to make data-driven decisions for targeted marketing.
✅ Transparent fake follower breakdown: Each audience is split into real people, influencers, mass followers and suspicious accounts, and the help center explains how every group is defined.
✅ Affordable pricing: Lite starts at $15.99 a month and Pro, the first plan with full search, at $39.99. Paying for six months upfront takes about 30% off, and unused reports roll over while you renew.
✅ Look-alike influencer search: Quick search returns up to 30 similar accounts from Instagram’s own suggestions in seconds; Deep search builds a list of up to 300 from the followers’ interests.
Cons
And here’s the bad news:
⛔ Instagram only: If your creators also post on TikTok or YouTube, you’ll need a second tool for those channels.
⛔ Audience filters cover a small slice: Basic filters search the whole database, but Premium filters, the ones based on audience data, only work on 200K+ influencers that already have a report.
⛔ Deep lookalikes are slow and capped: A Deep similar-accounts list can take up to 6 hours to build, needs a full report first, and Pro includes 25 a month.
⛔ No sales tracking or creator payments: TrendHERO covers finding, checking, emailing and tracking Instagram accounts, but its pricing and feature pages list no promo code or sales tracking, contracts or creator payments.
⛔ API only on the top plan: Advanced ($119.99 a month) includes API testing access; the lower plans list no API.
⛔ Report limits can feel restrictive: Full reports are capped at 10 a month on Lite, 50 on Pro and Pro Plus, and 200 on Advanced. That’s fine for occasional checks but tight for an agency vetting creators for several clients.
TrendHERO Pricing 2026

TrendHERO has five plans. The prices below are monthly, as listed on TrendHERO’s pricing page in October 2026. Paying for six months upfront takes about 30% off; there’s no yearly plan.
💰 Free Plan, $0/mo: Shows engagement rate and follower growth, lets you save favourites and gives demo access to search. Sign-up also includes one free full report on an Instagram account with up to 10,000 followers.
💰 Lite Plan, $15.99/mo: Entry-level paid plan with 10 analytics reports per month and tracking for up to 3 accounts. It doesn’t include influencer search, which TrendHERO removed from Lite in June 2023.
💰 Pro Plan, $39.99/mo: The first plan with full influencer search. Includes 50 reports a month, tracking for 20 accounts (Stories for 5), up to 15,000 search results a month (500 per search), 100 quick and 25 deep similar-account searches, 10 audience overlaps, ad post search and 200 outreach emails a month. Emails from profiles cost extra on this plan.
💰 Pro Plus Plan, $69.99/mo: Everything in Pro with the same 50 reports a month, plus emails and phone numbers from profiles where available, tracking for 50 accounts, 500 outreach emails a month and one invited team member.
💰 Advanced Plan, $119.99/mo: 200 reports a month, tracking for 50 accounts (Stories for 15), up to 50,000 search results a month (1,000 per search), 100 deep similar-account searches, 100 audience overlaps, 10 invited team members, API testing access and premium support. Best suited for agencies managing several brands.
A nice touch: if you don’t use all your monthly reports, the unused balance rolls over to the next month, as long as you keep renewing. New accounts get a 14-day trial with no credit card. Cancelling doesn’t refund the rest of a paid period, per TrendHERO’s terms.
TrendHERO vs Click Analytic
Click Analytic is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. Here is how the two compare on what each company publishes on its pricing page, checked in October 2026.
- Price: TrendHERO starts at $15.99 a month for Lite, but full search starts on Pro at $39.99. Click Analytic starts at $79 a month for Launch, or $59 billed yearly; Operate is $189, or $129 billed yearly. For Instagram-only vetting, TrendHERO costs much less.
- Networks and database: TrendHERO covers Instagram only, with 110M+ accounts by its own count. Click Analytic searches 425M+ creator profiles: Instagram 95M+, TikTok 313M+ and YouTube 16M+. Vendors count differently, so treat both as rough signals.
- Audience checks: TrendHERO splits Instagram audiences into real, influencer, mass follower and suspicious accounts and sums the account up in a 1 to 100 AQS. Click Analytic’s Audience Authenticity Score (AAS) is 100 minus the share of followers that look suspicious, and covers Instagram and TikTok, not YouTube.
- Reports: TrendHERO Pro includes 50 full reports a month, and unused ones roll over. Click Analytic Launch includes 25 creator analyses a month and Operate 75.
- Tracking: TrendHERO tracks follower growth and engagement for 3 to 50 accounts depending on the plan, with Stories from Pro. Click Analytic tracks campaign posts on Instagram and TikTok for 5 creators on Launch and 20 on Operate, and ties Shopify promo codes, orders and sales back to each creator. TrendHERO’s pages list no sales tracking.
- Contacts and outreach: TrendHERO Pro sends 200 outreach emails a month, and email and phone exports start on Pro Plus. Click Analytic Launch includes 100 email unlocks a month and Operate 500, with built-in email outreach; email unlocks only cover emails creators list publicly.
- Team and API: TrendHERO lets you invite 1 member on Pro Plus and 10 on Advanced, which also includes API testing access. Click Analytic Launch has 1 user and Operate 3, and API access comes with Custom (from $500 a month) or token-based pricing.
- Trial: both give 14 days with no card. TrendHERO adds one free report on an account with up to 10,000 followers. Click Analytic’s trial includes everything except mass outreach, with 100 searches a day, 10 creator analyses, 5 tracked creators and 10 email unlocks.
Our honest read: if you only vet Instagram creators and want a detailed report before you pay one, TrendHERO is hard to beat on price. If you also work on TikTok, or need to show which creator drove sales, Click Analytic covers more of the job. Run the same shortlist through both trials and compare.
