Who is The Gstaad Guy?
An anonymous London-born satirist of old money
The Gstaad Guy is an anonymous satirist who parodies the habits of the very rich through a character called Constance, a frowning connoisseur in cashmere who sends most things to the bin. He keeps his own name private. Interviews describe him as born and raised in London and educated at a US business school, and he worked on Apple Pay at Apple before taking up the character full time. He posts as @gstaadguy on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and his Instagram and TikTok accounts are both based in the United Kingdom.
A WhatsApp joke that became a first video in January 2019
The character began as a joke passed around WhatsApp among friends and residents of Gstaad, the Swiss ski resort, and the first video went up on Instagram in January 2019. That August, Constance gained a cousin: Colton, a hype-loving Gen-Z trend chaser who is everything Constance is not. The first song, Commercial Flight, followed in September. By his own timeline he visited Gstaad for the first time that December, performing the song at the Gstaad Palace, and by August 2023 he had released five songs, the fifth titled À La Poubelle.
Constance, Colton and the à la poubelle catchphrase
Most videos are short sketches in which Constance rules on taste, from coffee orders and ski resorts to how long people take to answer a message, and consigns the rest à la poubelle, French for into the bin. Fantastique is his word of approval. All 13 of his latest Instagram captions carry the hashtag #ItsAllFamily. Since May 2025 he has also hosted The Gstaad Guy Podcast out of character, a guest-led show that his Instagram bio promises every Wednesday.
Loro Piana shoes, Poubel jewellery and a Bentley built with Mulliner
In November 2020 he launched a limited Loro Piana shoe called the Open Knitted Walk, sold online in Europe, followed by a second limited edition in December 2021. In August 2024 he launched Poubel, his own brand of modular sterling silver jewellery with hand-painted enamel charms. In May 2026 Bentley unveiled the Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, a limited Mulliner edition designed with him. His own site lists Loro Piana, Acqua di Parma, Audemars Piguet and Bentley Motors as partners and names United Talent Agency as his agency.
Brands The Gstaad Guy has worked with
His paid work is made in character, with Constance or Colton fronting the product, and it runs mostly to luxury and travel brands. His own site lists four partners: Loro Piana, Acqua di Parma, Audemars Piguet and Bentley Motors. On Instagram, 25 sponsored posts can be seen, from May 2019 to April 2026, and his most-tagged account is his own brand, Poubel.
Loro Piana accounts for the most. Eight of the sponsored posts tag it, from the Open Knitted Walk launch in November 2020 and the Summer Knitted Walk of December 2021, limited to 100 units in each of five colours, to two videos in September and October 2025. Acqua di Parma follows with four, from May 2024 to January 2026, three of them marked #Ad; the May 2025 one, captioned Sheep rush in, locals rush out, is the most-liked sponsored post we can see, with 75,821 likes and 2,026,242 views.
Bentley goes back furthest. The earliest sponsored post we can see, from May 2019, thanks Bentley Motors, and the May 2026 post revealing the Chalet Edition has 397,236 likes. Audemars Piguet, the fourth name on his partner list, appears in none of the 25 sponsored posts.
Since 2025 the sponsored posts have also covered travel, property and technology: Visit Hungary on Instagram and TikTok in May and August 2025, Alta Real Estate Dubai and the eSIM service Saily in November 2025, and two paid partnership posts for the AI assistant Claude in March 2026, beside the resale platform Vestiaire Collective in October 2025. Earlier sponsored posts named TAG Heuer and Indie Beach at Pampelonne, near Saint-Tropez, in 2022, and the chauffeur app Wheely in 2023.
Across all 25 sponsored posts the average is 22,257 likes. The nine from 2025 averaged 37,990, above the account's 27,201 average measured in September 2026, while the four from 2026 average 17,185, close to the April 2026 monthly average of 17,578. Those four drew between 613,752 and 2,305,445 views against a Reel average of 845,854, and the most-viewed of them, a Claude post, drew the fewest likes, 6,575.
His audience's own brand affinities put Apple first, then Walt Disney, Gucci, Nike and Christian Dior, with Prada, Chanel, Ferrari, Coachella and Porsche completing the top ten. A brand planning a sponsored post now should budget against the 2026 sponsored average of 17,185 likes and the Reel average of 845,854 views, not the peaks of his organic Reels.

Instagram is where the first Gstaad Guy video went up, in January 2019, and it is still the largest of his three @gstaadguy accounts. Measured in September 2026, the verified @gstaadguy account held 1,903,029 followers across 739 posts.
A Reel averages 845,854 views, equal to 44.4% of the follower count, and a post averages 27,201 likes and 288 comments, for an engagement rate of 1.43%. That is one comment for every 94 likes: far more people watch and like the sketches than reply under them.
The 14 top Instagram posts we can see all went up between November 2025 and July 2026. The most-liked of them, a March 2026 video addressed to international students about the difference between sharing interests and sharing a budget, has 733,603 likes, 4,811 comments and 87,794 shares. Second is the May 2026 post revealing the Bentley Bentayga Chalet Edition, with 397,236 likes; its on-screen text says he played a character on Instagram for seven years and now has his own car with Bentley.
The two most-viewed unpaid Reels we can see are everyday rulings. A June 2026 Reel on the summer coffee order, the shakerato, reached 2,282,613 views, and an April 2026 Reel against glamorising VIP and artist passes at Coachella reached 2,139,732, each more than 2.5 times the Reel average.
The following is still growing. His own timeline marks 1 million followers in November 2024. The monthly readings rose from 1,756,191 in March 2026 to 1,903,029 in September, a gain of 146,838, or 8.4%, and the two largest monthly gains, 38,585 and 43,395, came in June and July, the same two months in which the average like count reached its two highest readings, 39,627 and 42,381.
His 13 latest posts went up in the 21 days from 16 August to 5 September 2026, a Monza Grand Prix warm-up in Parma, a smash burger, a coastal road trip from Rome to Monaco and a clip from his podcast among them. For a brand, the working figures are 845,854 views for a Reel and 27,201 likes for a typical post; the 2026 top posts show how far a sketch travels when it lands.
His TikTok, verified and open since December 2019, is where à la poubelle turns into a fill-in-the-blank line for viewers. Measured in September 2026, it held 1,300,000 followers and 1,066 videos, which had drawn 51,100,000 likes between them.
An average video takes 64,150 views, 7,035 likes and 41 comments, so about 11 likes arrive for every 100 views, and the engagement rate is 12.78%. From March to September 2026 the lifetime like count rose by 3,744,737, and monthly average views ranged from 64,150 to 99,909, peaking in August.
Seven of his ten most-liked videos are built on a catchphrase. Five use à la poubelle, four of them with captions that leave the last word blank for the viewer to fill in, and two use fantastique. The biggest, À La Poubelle from May 2025, has 13,000,000 views, 2,000,000 likes and 297,000 shares; its frame shows him on a yellow open car under the words À La Poubelle. Half of the ten date from 2022, among them a November 2022 video captioned Goodbye FOMO, Hello ROMO, with 5,100,000 views and 816,900 likes.
Around the start of September 2026 he posted close to daily: his ten latest videos went up between 31 August and 9 September, four of them on 7 September alone, from the Monza paddock to a Poubel clip, and they drew between 35,400 and 101,900 views, an average of 66,500. That sits beside the account's 64,150 and far below the hits of 2022 to 2025, so a new video should be planned against the average rather than the catalogue.
Two sponsored videos can be seen, both for Visit Hungary in 2025: a May video giving five reasons to visit Budapest, with 404,200 views and 39,000 likes, and an August one with 271,900 views and 30,300 likes. Both drew more likes than any monthly average from March to September 2026, which peaked at 12,710.
The TikTok audience, measured in September 2026, differs from the Instagram one. It is 54.9% women and younger: 56.3% are 18 to 24 and 7.5% are 13 to 17, about 97,700 accounts, against 4.0% on Instagram. The United States holds 19.8% and the United Kingdom 7.9%.
His YouTube channel, @GstaadGuy, opened in September 2019 and is the smallest of his three @gstaadguy accounts, with 30,300 subscribers and 93 videos when measured in September 2026. Its description sends viewers to his Instagram, and his weekly podcast runs on a separate channel, @GstaadGuyPodcast, opened in May 2025.
Within days of opening, the channel posted the video for his first song, Commercial Flight, subtitled Hop Hop Hop, in September 2019. It has 174,546 views, the most among his ten most-liked uploads. The videos for later songs, from Après Ski and Rimowa to Take Me To Bodrum and À La Poubelle in 2023, sit on the same channel.
Sixteen of the 17 videos we can see are Shorts dated April 2024 to January 2025, and every one carries the same description line, which sets fantastique against à la poubelle. Their titles run from Pronunciations with Constance to London, the Gstaad way and a list of Colton's top five iced matchas in London. The most-liked, an April 2024 sketch about the friendship between Constance and Colton, has 168,749 views and 4,064 likes.
A YouTube upload averages 47,295 views, 1,474 likes and 15 comments, an engagement rate of 2.97%, and draws more views than the channel has subscribers: 47,295 against 30,300, or 156%.
The newest of his ten latest uploads is a Colton sketch from January 2025, and the other nine date from October and November 2024. Subscribers still rose from 29,000 in March 2026 to 30,300 in September, and total channel views from 3,068,339 to 3,247,813, a gain of 179,474.
The YouTube audience is the most male and the oldest of the three: 72.8% men, 60.8% aged 25 to 34 and 22.9% aged 35 or over, with 18.8% in the United States, 8.9% in the United Kingdom and 5.0% in Switzerland. For a brand, the channel holds his song videos and 2024 Shorts, and new podcast episodes go to the separate podcast channel.

How we analyse creators
Every figure on this page is drawn from Click Analytic platform data and verified public sources, assessed across six signal categories.
Reach & relevance
Followers on every platform the creator actually runs, weighted by how much of that audience sits in your target market. A big number in the wrong country is reach you cannot buy, so the weighting comes first.
Audience profile
Age brackets, gender split, top countries and languages of the people who really see the posts. This is the part that decides whether a creator fits a brief, and it is measured on the account, not guessed from the content.
Engagement signals
Average likes, comments and views on recent posts, compared with creators of the same follower size on the same platform. The comparison matters more than the raw rate: a 2% rate can be strong at 2M followers and weak at 20K.
Audience quality
The share of followers that look like real people versus suspicious, inactive or mass-following accounts, scored 0 to 100 with fake-follower detection on every profile. It is the number that tells you how much of the reach is actually there.
Activity & consistency
Posting cadence over the last weeks and follower growth over 30 days. An account that has gone quiet or is shedding followers performs differently from one that is live and climbing, whatever its size.
Commercial readiness
Sponsored-post history, the brands already mentioned, category fit for your industry and an estimated cost per post. Together they say whether the creator is used to working with brands and roughly what a collaboration costs.
