Who is Andrew Glaze?

Andrew Glaze, who posts as Andy Glaze, is a US-based ultrarunner and firefighter from Redlands, California. His biggest account is the verified TikTok @glazeruns, with 999,700 followers in September 2026, ahead of his Instagram, @amglaze, at 506,737 and his YouTube channel at 50,300 subscribers. The four parts below cover his fire service, a streak of 100-mile weeks, race films past 10 million views and his 2026 book.

A battalion chief at the La Verne Fire Department

Glaze is a firefighter paramedic and a battalion chief with the La Verne Fire Department in Los Angeles County, a rank he held in September 2025 and still held in May 2026. He became a firefighter in his thirties and worked in San Bernardino before La Verne. Firefighter appears in all three of his social bios.

339 straight weeks of running at least 100 miles

The number attached to his name is a streak: at least 100 miles of running every week. His Instagram bio counted 339 consecutive weeks in September 2026, up from 191 in November 2023, which puts the start of the run in March 2020. At the 100-mile minimum, 339 weeks comes to at least 33,900 miles.

Race films from the Jackpot 100 to the Cocodona 250

Race footage is where his biggest numbers sit. He finished the 2021 Cocodona 250, a 250-mile race in Arizona, and every edition since, six in all by May 2026. Nine of the ten top TikTok videos we can see open on a start line under the on-screen words Come run 100 miles with me, or 250 or 300 for the longer races. His films of the Jackpot 100 from 2022 and 2023, the Coldwater Rumble 100 from 2022 and his Born to Run 100 win, posted in April 2023, each passed 10 million views.

Smile, or You're Doing It Wrong: the sign-off and the book

The line Smile, or you're doing it wrong runs through his captions, in 23 of the 30 unsponsored Instagram posts we can see. It is also the title of his book, a 296-page paperback published on 31 March 2026, and in September 2026 he began an East Coast tour of group runs and signings for it. The sign-off stays fixed while his audiences differ: 55.0% of his TikTok audience is aged 18 to 24, and 68.6% of his Instagram audience is 25 to 44.

Brands Andrew Glaze has worked with

Andrew Glaze's recent paid work centers on race fuel and running gear. We can see 20 sponsored TikTok videos from August 2025 to August 2026 and 12 sponsored Instagram posts from December 2025 to August 2026. Two partners recur on both: Ketone-IQ, whose shots his captions say he takes every 10 miles, and The Feed, which sells single servings from many sports nutrition brands.

Ketone-IQ has 8 of the 20 sponsored TikTok videos and 4 of the 12 Instagram posts. The posts form a series tied to his races: around the start of each, he asks how many Ketone-IQ shots it will take: 300 miles for the Arizona Monster 300 in March 2026, 250 for Cocodona in May, 268 for the Summer Spine in June and 100 miles in August. On TikTok the most-watched of them is a January 2026 video of 100 miles run handcuffed to another creator, a challenge chosen by more than 2,900 comment votes, at 437,500 views and 47,900 likes.

The Feed has four posts on each platform, from May to August 2026, and each links his own discount page. The first, in May 2026, lists what made his Cocodona 250 fuel plan after testing on training runs and at the Canyons 50K; on TikTok it drew 367,700 views and 29,200 likes, the second most-watched of his sponsored TikTok videos. The last, in August, thanks The Feed for keeping him cool at Leadville.

The gear partners are older. A #HOKAPartner video in August 2025 promoted the HOKA Mafate 5 x UTMB Challenge, a contest for a place at UTMB, before his sixth start there. In October 2025 he presented a Feetures sock pack named after him, the Merino 10 Ultra Light 100 Mile Glaze Pack, in colors he picked, and said all of his more than 100,000 kilometers over 11 years had been run in Feetures. In September 2026 he joked on Instagram that he was still waiting on that Hoka sponsorship.

Further back, on 17 March 2024, he ran the Los Angeles Marathon in a PRIME costume as part of a sponsorship deal, and PRIME's own TikTok posted the run six days later. None of the sponsored posts we can see, from August 2025 onward, is for PRIME.

On TikTok his sponsored videos draw more likes than his average. The 20 average 12,258 likes and the 16 from 2026 average 13,043, while his account average in 2026 ranged from 5,154 likes in March to 11,678 in May. Instagram runs the other way: the 12 sponsored posts average 6,291 likes against an account average of 9,456, though the Arizona Monster Ketone-IQ Reel of March 2026 still reached 836,510 views.

Brand affinity on his Instagram audience puts Walt Disney at the top, followed by Nike, Apple and GoPro, with Adidas fifth and ASICS ninth, so two sportswear brands and a camera brand make the top five.

His Instagram, @amglaze, runs under his full name, Andrew Glaze, and is verified. In September 2026 it counted 506,737 followers across 3,226 posts, about half his TikTok following. In percentage terms it grew faster than his TikTok between March and September 2026, and its most-watched post we can see is a March Reel about Strava data.

His average post draws 9,456 likes and 124 comments, 76 likes to each comment, and the account's engagement rate is 1.87%. Reels carry the reach. They average 257,590 views, which is 50.8% of his follower count and 27 times the likes on his average post.

The Strava Reel, from March 2026, carries a caption asking whether readers remember when Strava data gave away secret military bases. It reached 9,728,096 views, 264,704 likes and 61,259 shares, about 38 times his Reel average. A May 2026 Reel posted after the Cocodona 250 follows with 2,596,326 views.

Several of his most-liked posts come from summer 2026. A July clip of a coyote pup playing with a toy on one of his runs took 89,153 likes. The UTMB start line in Chamonix, posted the day before the race, took 67,432, and a July post about the Crazy Mountain 100 in Montana, which he calls his favorite 100-miler in North America, took 59,577. None of the 19 top posts we can see carries a paid tag.

Instagram added followers in every monthly reading from March to September 2026, going from 394,307 to 506,737. That is 112,430 more, a 28.5% increase in six months, with the two biggest steps, 25,493 and 26,026, coming between March and May. Average likes peaked at 13,372 in May, up from 7,570 in March, and read 9,456 in September.

His late-August and early-September posts follow the end of three races in two weeks: his seventh UTMB finish, a post about his HOKA shoes holding up at Leadville and UTMB, and the announcement of his East Coast tour. For a brief, the numbers to plan against are the September Reel average of 257,590 views and 9,456 likes on an average post, not the March Strava outlier.

TikTok is where Andy Glaze is biggest. His verified account, @glazeruns, opened in August 2021 and held 999,700 followers and 1,394 videos when measured in September 2026. This section sets an average video against the 2022 and 2023 race films that still hold the account's biggest numbers, then follows six months of growth in 2026 and the book-tour videos he posts now.

On an average video he gets 94,000 views, 6,114 likes and 52 comments, and the account's engagement rate is 6.89%. Views on a typical video come to 9.4% of his follower count, and there is roughly one like for every 15 views. Comments are the smallest number on the account, one for every 118 likes, so a brief measured on comments should plan for about 52 a video.

The biggest videos date from 2022 and 2023. His February 2022 Jackpot 100 film, a race he called his best after taking 1 hour 20 minutes off his 100-mile personal record, sits at 17,000,000 views and 2,300,000 likes. His film of the 2023 edition, posted in March and billed on screen as the USATF National Championship, has 17,500,000 views, and a shorter cut of it, which gives his result as 10th overall and second in his age group, adds 13,200,000. His April 2023 video of the Born to Run 100, which he won, has 15,100,000.

Each of those films opens at the start line with the words Come run 100 miles with me on screen, and his caption on the 2023 Jackpot 100 cut puts the full film at about five minutes. He calls keeping a race to one video his no part 2 policy, and it holds for longer races too: his April 2025 Arizona Monster 300 film, which opens on Come run 300 miles with me, has 13,000,000 views.

The follower count climbed in each month from March to September 2026, from 886,272 to 999,700, adding 113,428, up 12.8%. The biggest monthly step, 39,680, came between April and May. Average views peaked in May at 170,239, the month of his sixth Cocodona 250, when two race videos went up that now hold 14,400,000 and 9,400,000 views. By September it had eased to 94,000.

The ten most recent videos we can see, posted between 3 and 10 September 2026, show the current mix. A recap of the Last Soul Ultra, the Leadville 100 and UTMB, three races in two weeks, drew 2,300,000 views and 63,700 likes, while invitations to group runs on his East Coast book tour drew between 10,200 and 66,800 views.

For a campaign, the working figures are the September averages of 94,000 views and 6,114 likes, not the 2022 peaks. The 20 sponsored videos we can see, from August 2025 to August 2026, average 12,258 likes, about twice that September figure, so paid videos on this account have averaged more likes than his typical video.

His YouTube channel, @glazeruns, opened in March 2014 and held 50,300 subscribers and 1,001 videos when measured in September 2026, the smallest of his three accounts. Most of the uploads we can see are vertical clips, and several went up the same day as an Instagram post with the same caption. Its two most-watched uploads each squeeze a 240 or 250-mile race into about a minute, and it added a third to its subscriber count between March and September 2026.

A typical upload gets 24,532 views, 652 likes and 19 comments, and the channel's engagement rate is 2.71%. Average views equal 48.8% of the subscriber count, and there is one like for about every 38 views.

A clip from October 2025 asking whether 240 miles can be run in 59 seconds leads with 3,561,882 views, just ahead of Cocodona 250 in one minute, posted in May 2023, at 3,500,384 views and 175,022 likes. A January 2026 Moab 240 video follows at 3,202,326. A January 2025 Coldwater Rumble 100 video drew 97,385 likes on 1,687,780 views, 5.8 likes per 100 views, the highest rate among the ten top videos we can see.

The subscriber count went from 37,700 in March 2026 to 50,300 in September, 12,600 more, up 33.4%, and total channel views grew from 30,021,782 to 44,946,904 over the same months. Average views peaked at 38,725 in June, then settled at 24,532.

None of the YouTube uploads we can see is flagged as sponsored. Two clips from 27 August 2026 carry his discount link for The Feed, one of them titled Leadville 100 fueling strategy, and the newest uploads cover UTMB 2026, including a graphic marking his seventh finish, and the East Coast tour. The channel's audience, measured in September 2026, is 83.0% men, the most male of his three followings, with 51.6% aged 25 to 34 and 56.6% in the United States.

Men are 69.3% of his Instagram audience, and 68.6% are 25 to 44

The remainder splits into 5.2% suspicious accounts, about 26,600, and 4.4% other influencers, about 22,200. No credibility score exists for his TikTok or YouTube followings, so these figures describe Instagram only.

Sports and fitness lead his Instagram audience's interests

Sports is the audience's top measured interest at 48.1%, with fitness and yoga at 47.5%. Friends, family and relationships follow at 40.0%, then restaurants and food at 37.5% and travel at 37.1%. Camera and photography, at 34.4%, and cars and motorbikes, at 30.6%, both rank above clothing at 26.4%, so an apparel brief here speaks to a sports audience before a fashion one.

Methodology

How we analyse creators

Every figure on this page is drawn from Click Analytic platform data and verified public sources, assessed across six signal categories.

Reach & relevance

Followers on every platform the creator actually runs, weighted by how much of that audience sits in your target market. A big number in the wrong country is reach you cannot buy, so the weighting comes first.

Audience profile

Age brackets, gender split, top countries and languages of the people who really see the posts. This is the part that decides whether a creator fits a brief, and it is measured on the account, not guessed from the content.

Engagement signals

Average likes, comments and views on recent posts, compared with creators of the same follower size on the same platform. The comparison matters more than the raw rate: a 2% rate can be strong at 2M followers and weak at 20K.

Audience quality

The share of followers that look like real people versus suspicious, inactive or mass-following accounts, scored 0 to 100 with fake-follower detection on every profile. It is the number that tells you how much of the reach is actually there.

Activity & consistency

Posting cadence over the last weeks and follower growth over 30 days. An account that has gone quiet or is shedding followers performs differently from one that is live and climbing, whatever its size.

Commercial readiness

Sponsored-post history, the brands already mentioned, category fit for your industry and an estimated cost per post. Together they say whether the creator is used to working with brands and roughly what a collaboration costs.

FAQ

Andrew Glaze, frequently asked questions

How many followers does Andrew Glaze have?

His TikTok, @glazeruns, had 999,700 followers in September 2026, his Instagram, @amglaze, 506,737 and his YouTube channel 50,300 subscribers. Added together that is 1,556,737, and because the same people can follow him on more than one account, the total is not a count of individuals.

Is Andrew Glaze a firefighter?

Yes. As of May 2026 he was a firefighter paramedic and a battalion chief with the La Verne Fire Department in Los Angeles County, the same rank reported for him in September 2025. He switched careers to firefighting in his thirties, and all three of his social bios list the job.

How long is Andrew Glaze's running streak?

His streak stood at 339 weeks in September 2026, by the count in his Instagram bio, each week with at least 100 miles of running. Working back from 191 weeks on 12 November 2023 puts the first week in March 2020, and 339 weeks at that minimum is at least 33,900 miles.

Why did Andrew Glaze run the LA Marathon in a PRIME costume?

The run was a sponsored appearance. He ran the 17 March 2024 Los Angeles Marathon in the costume under a sponsorship deal, and PRIME's verified TikTok posted the run on 23 March 2024. None of the sponsored posts we can see from August 2025 onward is for PRIME; in 2026 they are led by Ketone-IQ and The Feed.

What is Andrew Glaze's book?

His book is Smile, or You're Doing It Wrong, which shares its title with the sign-off on most of his captions, and it came out as a 296-page paperback on 31 March 2026. His September 2026 East Coast tour pairs group runs in cities from Knoxville to Atlanta with book signings.
