De acordo com fresh research by the University of Chicago’s National Opinion Research Center (NORC), chatting online with close friends and family isn’t just a pastime; it’s a major happiness booster

This study, commissioned by Snapchat itself, delves into the impact of online communication on interpersonal relationships and mental well-being.

The joy factor in digital conversations

The NORC study illuminates a heartwarming truth: about two-thirds of young people find immense joy in direct messaging their loved ones. ♥️

This personal touch in the digital space sets Snapchat apart – conversations here are fleeting, mirroring the ephemeral nature of in-person interactions.

Um impressionante 80% of teens and young adults feel more connected to their friends’ lives through social media platforms. 

However, the flip side shows over half feeling overwhelmed, with 45% feeling pressured to curate a perfect online image and more than a third chasing likes and comments.

Here’s where Snapchat shines: users report higher satisfaction with the quality of friendships and familial relationships than non-users.
